Race Comments: VENTURA was unhurried
while racing well back for a half mile, made a strong five wide move to quickly reach contention nearing the quarter pole,
closed the gap in upper stretch, charged to the front inside the furlong marker and drew off with authority under mild encouragement
to win going away. INDIAN BLESSING set or forced the pace through the opening quarter, stalked the lead from outside on the
far turn, accelerated to the front leaving the turn, opened a clear advantage in upper stretch, relinquished the lead inside
the furlong marker and continued on well to clearly best the others. ZAFTIG was well placed along the backstretch, raced within
striking distance while five wide on the turn, raced just behind the leaders from outside in upper stretch and finished willingly
to gain a share. MIRACULOUS MISS was taken in hand and angled to the inside leaving the gate, raced well back for a half,
moved out on the turn, advanced five wide into the stretch and improved her position while passing mostly tiring horses. TIZZY'S
TUNE raced in midpack along the backstretch, swung five wide at the top of the stretch and failed to threaten while gaining
a bit in the late stages. INTANGAROO was outrun for a half after breaking slowly, advanced inside on the turn, swung seven
wide entering the stretch and rallied belatedly. MAGNIFICIENCE was outrun for five furlongs after breaking slowly, drifted
wide leaving the quarter pole and failed to mount a serious rally. JAZZY (ARG) was reserved for a half, raced behind a wall
of horses on the turn, swung six wide entering the stretch and lacked a late closing response. LADY SPRINTER was never a factor
while saving ground most of the way. LA TEE stalked five wide along the backstretch, remained a factor to the turn and gave
way approaching the stretch. DEAREST TRICKSKI rushed up to take the lead along the backstretch, set the pace to the turn and
gave way thereafter. DREAM RUSH raced up close between horses for a half and faltered. TIZ ELEMENTAL raced in tight at the
start and failed to mount a serious rally while between horses for most of the way.
