Race Comments: DONATIVUM (GB)
three deep into the first turn, split rivals on the backstretch, chased outside a rival then just off the rail on the second
turn, swung out in upper stretch, split foes under some urging in midstretch and rallied gamely to get up late. WESTPHALIA
(IRE) bumped at the start, pulled his way along inside to chase the pace, moved up along the rail on the backstretch and second
turn, lacked room leaving that turn and into the stretch, came out in the lane, also split horses with a bid to gain the advantage
in deep stretch and continued willingly. CORONET OF A BARON angled in and stalked inside, came out leaving the second turn
and three deep into the stretch, took the lead outside foes in midstretch, inched away and drifted inward in deep stretch
and just held third. CITY STYLE bumped at the start, raced unhurried along the inside for six furlong, came out into the stretch
and finished with interest to just miss the show. RELATIVELY READY pulled his way between horses then chased a bit off the
rail, came out in the stretch and lacked the needed rally. VAQUERO chased between horses then outside a rival, went up four
wide on the backstretch and three deep on the second turn and could not offer the necessary response. ORTHODOX sped to the
early lead, angled in and set the pace inside, fought back into the stretch and to midstretch, then weakened. BITTEL ROAD
stalked three deep then off the rail, bid between horses into the stretch, also fought back to midstretch, then weakened.
NINTH CLIENT saved ground chasing the pace, split rivals leaving the backstretch, angled back in and did not rally. GRAND
ADVENTURE stalked outside then three deep, came four wide into the stretch and weakened. SKIPADATE pulled his way between
horses and steadied in tight on the first turn, stalked between foes then outside a rival came out into the stretch and also
weakened. PADDY THE PRO (IRE) broke a bit slowly, angled in and settled off the pace inside, came out into the stretch and
was outrun.
